Exploring the SoulCollage® Community Suit

“Making community cards is like weaving invisible threads around all of
my family and friends and drawing them close to me.”  Jeri B

The Community suit of the SoulCollage® deck contains  cards with images of real people, pets, and places in your unique community.  These cards are both honoring significant beings in your life as well as allowing their love and wisdom and sometimes their demands and challenges to be an influence in your life.  A Community card can be for beings you know personally, or only know through their art, writing, teaching or special deed. They may be alive or passed on.  Making a card in honor of them is a way to claim their special kind of energy and unique perspective, which you will listen to during readings when you draw those cards.

During this 4-hour workshop you will be making at least one card for someone or something significant to you, as well as other cards depending on where your creative muse guides you. It’s helpful to work with photographs or copies of photographs of the people, pets or places that are the focus of your Community Card, but not necessary.  One can use images that represent aspects of members of your community.

No art experience is necessary!  With SoulCollage®, everyone is an artist and can have fun being creative! Anyone able to manage scissors and glue can create beautiful cards and enjoy sharing them with others.
